NEAR-ENVIRONMENT OFFSHORE and MOBILE ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN Since 1995, Near-environment Offshore and Mobile Architectural Design or "N.O.M.A.D ", has conducted researched on dynamic travel architecture to reduce the dependence of those who travel extensively on static traditional structures which are permanently sited. The modern professionals desired for the "active, portable, and dynamic" lifestyle and the needs of the worlds leisure class has provoked research into such architectures by the Institute of Destination Architects and Designers. Design,
research and development of mobile office, resort and travel home Vision and desire is growing for “user-based”, Travel inspired mobile architectural environments which are more internationally accessible through their mobility. Non-standard solutions to accommodations in the form of resort housing, travel homes and full-time living are studied for their unconventional and unique answers to problems often found in static and permanent shelter design of the past. New architectural solutions that model the need for rethinking and redeveloping methods of design that reduce the landscape construction clutter while increasing owner options and resources should be developed. |
